These atipátaka and mahápátaka are also children of the Paramátmá.

Paramátmá is not merely a judge or lawyer only. Whether he is sádhu or asádhu, sinner or virtuous – whatever one may be, with each and everyone, there is a personal relationship.

HE is the Father of the world – not merely a judge.

Then, what does HE anticipates, “that atipátaka sons as well as atipátaka daughters must carry the burden of their sins forever” – that He does not want.

In the scriptures, the normal word for pátaka it is duśt́a, for pátaka, it is said “duśt́a”, for man who is atipátakii, it is said to be dúrácárii, and for a man who is mahápátakii, we call as “sudúrácára”.

All these three types of people should be avoided; one should stay away from them, that is a rule.

But Bhagaván has said, Krśńa has said, what?

No” – even for such people there is no reason to fear about.

Api cet sudúrácáro bhajate Mámananyabhák;

Sopi pápavinirmuktah mucyate bhavabandhanát.

If a sudúrácára, that is mahapátakii, if single-mindedly, completely devotes oneself, forgetting everything else, and” – bhajate Mámananyabhák – “takes refuge in Me with unswerving attention,” then what does happen?

bhajate Mámananyabhák”, “if single mindedly, one devotes completely & surrenders to Me, even the mahapátakii, “Sopi pápavinirmuktah mucyate bhavabandhanát”, then he too will be liberated from pápa, and he too will be emancipated from all mundane bondages.”

Hence, any man is not to fear for any reason whatsoever.

If at all once past was black, very jet black, even then there is no need to fear, and if one comes in refuge of Parama Puruśa, their future is assured.
