PRAPATTIVÁDA[purely Original Discourse]

I think it is MY socio-spiritual responsibility, socio-spiritual duty, to say something regarding Prapatti.

The Word “Prapatti” is derived from Saḿskrta “Pra(prefix) – pat (verb) + ktin (suffix).

The idea, the spirit of “Prapatti” is that whatever happens in this Universe of ours is nothing but an expression of Cosmic Desire or Cosmic Will.

Neither can there be any volcanic eruption nor the movement of a blade of grass move without HIS order and that everything is pre-ordained by the Supreme Entity.

Man can do nothing. Living beings cannot do anything without HIS support; that is, human desire and HIS desire coincide, then human desire becomes fruitful, otherwise it is a damn failure.

Jiiva’s desire when coincides with the desire of Krśńa, then it becomes successful, otherwise not. This is the central idea of the term “Prapatti”.

Bhaktiváda, that is, devotionalism, stands solely on this “Prapatti”.

Jiṋánaváda does not support “Prapatti” and “Bhaktiváda” solely stands upon “Prapatti”.

People may ask, there may be question, regarding the practicality of PRAPATTIVÁDA or “Prapatti” or “Prapatti-ism”.

They may say, a Jiṋánii may say, a learned person may say, “When everything is being done by HIM according to HIS desire or action or HIS Saḿkalpa, what is the necessity of human endeavour?”

Jiṋánii may think that this is a knotty question before a Bhakta.

Bhakta won’t be able to give a suitable reply.

But, you know, although the Jiṋániis think they are the most intelligent, they are intelligentsia, actually Bhaktas are more intelligent than Jiṋániis; and he is the foolest fool who thinks himself that he is a Jiṋánii, and Bhaktas always remain ready with garlands of cow-dung cakes.

Now, I have already said that a Jiṋánii cannot even move, force a blade of grass to move, but the bhakta can, if he maintains a close tie with the Supreme; and there lies the excellence of a Bhakta.

The fact is, that human ability, human capability and human efficiency are almost nil, nothing really belongs to a him.

He gets everything from the Supreme Entity. Nothing is his. If he does not take food continously for 3 or 4 days – or for 3 or 4 years – then nothing will be left with him.

He would not like to speak, he would not be able to move.

Thus, nothing belongs to him.

Bhakta knows what belongs to him is HIS, because he is HIS.

Now, the explanation, the reply of the bhakta is, first reply is this, “One cannot do anything by one’s own endeavour”.

He must be, even there is no necessity to do it and all other worldly knowledges and other mundane knowledges and so-called wisdoms have got no value.

Those knowledge are known as “Prápta vákya”, that is, Vákya coming from, coming through the media of different worldly persons, worldly expressions.

For a Bhakta, Prápta vákya has got no value and Jiṋániis are quarreling amongst themselves with those Prápta vákya, i.e whether it is a victory or a defeat, actually those Jiṋániis gain nothing.

But, at the same time, one should remember that he should follow the Ápta vákya.

Sixteen Points are your “Ápta vákya”.

Do accordingly, and your fundamental basis should be Prapatti “everything happens as per HIS desire and not a single blade of grass can move without HIS permission”.

By the Grace of, by the compassion of Parama Puruśa, you have received the Ápta vákya guides, it is your duty to strictly adhere to the teachings of Ápta vákya.

Jiṋánii has got no future.
